I wouldn't consider Red Sail to be "small" boats. Their boats are packed from what I was told. They cater alot to the cruise boat industry day visitors. Pelican's boats aren't small six packs either, but i was happy with them. Most of their boats are 30-40' Newton Dive specials, but they were never crowded. At most we had 10 people on the boat. 2 tanks dive with tanks/weights was $55. They will also pick you up and drop you off from your hotel, which is nice since it saves you $10 in cab fare. I really liked Pelican and I would dive with them again. their website is http://www.pelican-aruba.com/ Unique Watersports runs "six Pack" type boats if you want a smaller boat (I think). They are located water/beachfront at the Aruba Grand hotel. http://www.visitaruba.com/uniquesports/ Dive Aruba might have smaller boats also. Not sure though. http://www.divearuba.com/ Make sure to dive the Antilla while there. It's a 400+ foot ship sunk in 50-60feet of water. |

I don't know if it is alike, but if it is similar to Curacao, then there tend to be very little visitors on the weekends for some reason. Saturdays, I've been told, are the day when holiday makers fly in and out, and hence there is little folk who want to go in the water. Could be a good day for a quiet photoshoot. /Marcin |

I think they had about a 12-14 diver capacity though they were never full when I was there. There's a trip report and photos on my website.
