Default Scuba Gear Question

I am thinking about purcahseing a Mares Isotherm Semidry suit and was
wondering how warm they are.

Default Re: Scuba Gear Question

Really depends on what water temp you are diving in. I personally own a
Mares Thermic Evolution wetsuit (sold to me as a semi-dry tho), which is
5-6mm and I am quite comfortable in water temps down to 13° - 14°. However,
I do at times supplement this with a long sleeve "radiatior" rashie which
effectively gives me the warmth of an extra 2mm.

I find the suit itself keeps me warm enough, it is only when I strip it off
in a cool wind after the dive that I start to feel the cold, and it would
probably be the same with the Isotherm.

Cheers
Andrew
