| Had my Maximus serviced last week & found out that the free parts for life warranty is no longer honoured by the new distributor - parts were charged at over $100! I will certainly be expressing my opinion to the new distributor, as the lifetime warranty was a major factor when I bought the regulator 4 years ago & had it serviced annually since. Anyone else with the now void warranty should also write to: Scuba Discount Supplies 215 Scarborough Beach Rd Mt Hawthorn, Perth WA 6016 Ph (08) 9443-3580 E-mail sds@global.net.au Very disappointed at the after sales service of Sherwood's distributors. -- To reply, remove "x" from e-mail address. |

| We all have been ripped off $100 for parts that are worth about $5. The new distributors do not offer this, as is their option, and what someone has told you in the past is hardly their problem. Cheers David M |

I have seen how some shops service regulators in the back room, and I would not allow some pimply faced nose ringed 17 year old to touch my regs. Boxer |

| I bought all my gear (all Sherwood) from this dealer. Had it serviced with them every year and now they are charging for parts when they themselves said it had a lifetime parts warranty. They were Sherwood distributors back then as they are again now. I do not believe this will hold up in court and will write a letter to 'The Ministry of Fair Trading'. | I agree, at the time it was offered as a Sherwood warranty, and it should be honoured regardless of who the distributor is. If they don't offer the warranty any more, that's fine but should honour the existing ones. JP -- To reply, remove "x" from e-mail address.
