Hi Daniel,
My brother in law had a minor operation on his lung several years ago and
was told he would not be able to dive below 10m permanently. Because of
this he would not be able to pass a dive medical.
I don't know if this is the same, but I would recommend you talk to a dive
specialist doctor. ( one of the good ones who do the major dive physicals)

Good Luck

Pat

Default Pulmonary Barotrauma

Hi,

There is a chance I have a small pulmonary Barotrauma, small whole in my
lung / lung expansion injury.

I've been diving along time, and the situation that caused it isn't what I'm
here to discuss.

I would like to know if its as grim as a Doctor has explained to me today,
in that I may never be able to dive again. Surely there must be some surgery
or similar to fix it.

Thanks for any advise.

Daniel
