The guarantee is pretty much non-existant. You have to take the next
available spot which is usually 3 or more days away and you have to take a
spot in the same season. Most people will miss the next available spot
because they have to go home or have something else booked and most won't be
able to come back again within the next few months. So very few people
actually collect on the guarantee. Then they don't tell you to hang on to
that little blue ticket until after you've thrown it out so you have to
spend another $30.
