Default Greg Mossman wins DARWIN Award for SELF-IMMOLATION

I have been on the internet for nearly 20 years, and I have to
admit this is the FIRST TIME I saw someone so mentally decrepit
and confused that he flamed HIMSELF on what he wrote, 30 MINUTES
before (not knowing that he wrote it, of course).

For what's documented below, Greg Mossman wins the

..... rec.scuba DARWIN Fire Diver Self-Immolation Award

< loud cheers from Greg's rec.scuba Dysfunctional Gang, ...
thinking the DARWIN award is some kind of Intelligence Award
because Greg had been so busy glorifying himself about his
intelligence. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL >

Greg was mindlessly nit-picking and FLAMING Reef Fish on every
oppourtunity he could find, even when Bob was merely discussing
the use of GPS in automobiles with others. Greg was on AUTO
PILOT in his Fire (FLAMING) Diver role when he posted the below
on Jan 30, 11:49 am

> "Reef Fish" <Large_Nassau_Grou...@Yahoo.com> wrote in message
> news:1107113637.004969.76520@f14g2000cwb.googlegro ups.com...

> >> Last time I was in So Cal, the dang thing kept making me
> >> take toll roads to get to where I needed to go. I really
> >> resent paying $3 to drive 10 miles. I can't help wonder
> >> if the DOT ain't in on it.

Greg thought I wrote it, partly because he had been so busy
Fire Diving that he forgot to count the ">>" from someone ELSE'S
post, and partly because Greg is incapable of grasping FACTS
posted, even those posted by HIMSELF!

So, Greg pulled out his Fire Diver TORCH to flame ANYONE who
used the So Cal toll roads, especially when he thought Reef
Fish said he did and paid for it ...

Greg> That is odd. The toll roads in SoCal don't really go
Greg> anywhere and I never use them although I do have a Fastrack
Greg> toll device.

NEVER USED THEM?

What you are witnessing is a CASE STUDY of an internet
dysfunctional MORON's modus operandi -- find every excuse to
flame someone, even if he has to LIE about some ... minor
details ... such as FACTS.

What Greg had forgotten was that HE was the one complaining
about the $3 toll, and giving the DOT a little quick
collateral flame:

On Jan 30, 11:19 am, Greg posted this:
==================== Quote Greg Mossman ===================
My problem with the Hertz system is that it doesn't offer a
"cheapest route" option. Last time I was in So Cal, the dang
thing kept making me take toll roads to get to where I needed
to go. I really resent paying $3 to drive 10 miles. I can't
help wonder if the DOT ain't in on it.
==================== End Quote Greg Mossman ===============

Greg says, Jan 30, 11:49 am , 30 MINUTES later,

> The only one that gets
> used by me is the stretch of I-15 north of San Diego. I
> did use one of the Orange County roads to get to Newport
> Beach for a Corona del Mar shore dive, but the diving is
> really boring off CDM and the toll roads don't help you
> get to the good stuff off Laguna Beach or even Redondo or
> Palos Verdes.

and then put in his dig, in his Fire (FLAMMING) Diver role:

Greg> Why did you need to go to nowhere?

thus accomplishing his SELF-IMMOLATION feat -- a FIRST in
the annals of rec.scuba for which he wins the DARWIN Award.

< THUNDERING applause ... Bravo, Bravo, ... >

Now the resident commentators who follow all of Greg's
Fire (FLAMING) Diving exploits stepped in to "support" their
Chief, right or wrong. To them, whatever Greg says is to be
"supported", as a member of the Dysfunctional Gang in good
standing ...

chilly is usually the first to step in ... having been known
******
for quite some time as "an officious, under-educated, and
under-informed ignorant bitch (ok, Queen Bitch as you wanted
to be called) who has absolutely nothing of substance to
contribute to any SCUBA newsgroup or lists"

"why would Greg lie about 'never used them'? We were in
Belize drinking beer and Greg told me he never used them."

Jason O'Rourke, who seldom missed any opportunity to get
***************
away from other newsgroups to join the Dysfunctinal Gang,

"I am from So Cal. Greg and I get drunk there often. If
Greg said he had never been on the So Cal toll roads,
how could Greg have been on it?"

Hugh Huntzinger never miss any such opportunity to flame
***************
Reef Fish, because he has held a "permanent grudge" (his
own words) against him since 1996 (He also is the co-holder
of the "Hypocrite Supreme" title shared with Lee Bell):

"FWIW, Bob said he was on a So Cal toll road.
He denies he had said that even though Greg quoted him.
Show us the proof!
Publish or Perish."

Lee Bell, who had bragged about not having read any of
********
Reef Fish's posts for months (years) always managed to
draft on the tail wind of other members of the
Dysfunctional Gang of rec.scuba,

"Bob's well known as an asshole. Michael Black committed
suicide. I hope Bob's rants don't end that way. He's
no longer king of the classroom ..."

There was even a "Celebrity Trivia Quiz" in rec.scuba in
2004 held in Lee's honor.

Bob Crownfield, who has been around rec.scuba for years
**************
but has never posted anything on scuba, and could not name
one instance in which he dived in this millennium, is good
at, and only at, citing words out of context,

"Bob ... mindlessly nit-picking ... FLAMING
internet dysfunctional MORON ... SELF-IMMOLATION ..."

Then there are some New Kids on the Block, who are
desperately trying to gain their recognition and
membership in the Dysfunctional Gang, because Greg said
the combined SAT score is a measure of one's IQ, and
any total SAT score of 400* will qualify for the DG:

Alan Street who always gets the facts wrong (truly
***********
dysfunctional for his inability read or comprehend) is
quick to speculate what Reef Fish MIGHT say ...

"I expect Feesh to think that whatever road he had driven
in So Cal was a toll road even though Greg said he had
never driven on one. I wouldn't put it past Greg to sue
Bob to force him to prove that he did not make that post
about So Cal toll roads. It must be a terrific strain to
consort with such mentally inferior beings."

Alan was correct in his speculation in the last sentence.

Simon who made his rec.scuba debut to the Hall of Dysfunctional
*****
Gang by admitting that he had purchased his master's degree
which he didn't really earn, while flaming Reef Fish's
education because of his own complete ignorance about
FACTS that everyone in rec.scuba already knew, even the
members of the Dysfunctional Gang,

"You never address facts yourself ... some of these takers
may even be "Oxford idiots" ... I never drove in So Cal,
but if Greg says you are wrong, and everyone else supported
Greg's claim that you were wrong about the toll roads in
So Cal, then you must be wrong, or need to define the
esact terms of what you mean."

Michael Wolf was busy arguing about guns and politics when
************
he heard all the cheering of Greg, felt he needed to speak,

"Then he can only be pitied."
"Only in his better days..."

That's the entirety of TWO of his posts. Michael didn't
know what Greg was fussing about, didn't know any of the
facts cited, but he could make these senseless statements
because such one-liners are about the average "attention
span" of the members of the rec.scuba Dysfunctional Gang,
and most of them could read those two lines. They couldn't
care less what are facts and what are fiction in Greg's
hullucinating mind.

Chris Guynn suddenly revived from a hole he dug for himself
***********
(as the one dwelled by Lee Bell) to proclaim,

"I'd volunteer to drive down to So Cal to be the witness
of whether there is any toll road or not, but I'm pretty
sure at least one of the parties wouldn't trust me."

Sounds like Chris may be one of Greg's opponents in the
guns and politics debates held daily in rec.scuba.

There you have it!

Greg Mossman wins the DARWIN Fire Diver FLAMMING Award
for his SELF-IMMOLATION.

You witnessed the comments of members of the rec.scuba
Dysfunctional Gang supporting Greg on his assertion that
Reef Fish was the person who wrote what Greg wrote.

I apologize to the newsgroup, and even to Al Gore for
reporting on Greg's winning of the coveted DARWIN Award
for his unselfish feat of SELF-IMMOLATION, resulting in
this band-width sucking introduction of members of Greg's
Dysfunctional Gang, I also apologize for having left out
a few minor apprentices in said Gang.

Greg's inability to recognize his own post, resulting in
flaming it 30 minutes later was obviously the result of
the deterioration of the neural synapses in the befuddled
ex-lawyer's brain, since he turned full-time into
campaigning himself for the Leader of the Dysfunctional
Gang in rec.scuba.

Reporter for CNN (Clueless Newbie News) Today,

-- Bob.

ok, now we see.
imagine with me the statistics annual convention.

at least twenty speakers, each with a long winded speech, filled with
randomly CAPITALIZED words scattered throughout. Bob has graciuosly
shown us samples here of the so called intellectual content and the
statistics humor we might be subjected to at the convention.

anyone want to buy a ticket?

Bob

I've been away (diving as it happens in Bali - you seem to have been
fairly prolific however in your "mouth dancing").

Nevertheless, best wishes for all for the lunar new year, Bob included,
it wouldn't be fun without you.

Anyway - to you and everyone else - Gong Xi Fa Cai (or Fat Choi for
those of a Cantonese persuasion). Have a great year of the Rooster and
enjoy your diving.

Cheers

Simon
