No that's KLM via Amsterdam. If you want to go via Miami that's an extra £100. If you go via Miami's 'International' airport, which is no such thing; you are herded into a waiting lounge with zilch facilities so you don't have to clear immigration. Then as soon as your flight is due for boarding, someone escorts you to the gate. Only you cannot join the people boarding, as they are in the US and you're not - you're stuck behind a glass screen until everyone else has boarded, then the screen opens. Why they make you wait beats me, except to antagonise non-US travellers of course. I think in these times KLM might be better, and they are cheaper, despite their absentmindedness with your luggage. - Keith |
