| Great article on Ambergris Caye in July's Rodale's magazine. Describes going to San Pedro for lunch by water taxi and seeing Golf Carts as main method of transportation. Describes his 5 days of non stop activiities, including spending 2 hours watching lizards and drinking cocktails. My kind of vacation. Fred |

There were advertisers to "grease", after all. Ambergis Caye was nice 15 years ago, but those days you weren't so sure if the chicken was iguana. It tasted pretty good nevertheless. The diving was better, too. Now, to find that, we must go to places that don't advertise in Rodales... yet. I'm sure that Doc Vikingo and Ben Davison will show us the light and the way. -- Doc _(:)0 "I'm hiding in Honduras, I'm a desperate man, Send Lawyers, Guns & Money...The sh*t has hit the fan" -Warren Zevon |

| What places don't advertise? We have been diving every year since 1990. What have we missed(i.e., in the caribbean)? Keys, Bermuda, Bonaire, Honduras, Curacao, Barbados, Cozumel, Saba, Caymans, they all advertise ? Be sure to read Blundercurrent, as well. It's most enlightening. -- Doc _(:)0 "I'm hiding in Honduras, I'm a desperate man, Send Lawyers, Guns & Money...The sh*t has hit the fan" -Warren Zevon |

| I wouldn't pay too much attention to the Ambergris- and Rodales-trashing that these guys have thrown at you. I happen to like Ambegris. In fact, if you read enough of their posts, you get the impression that Coco View is the be-all and end-all of diving destinations. Kinda bigoted view if you ask me. Besides, that way they hail Roatan, they might as well advertise in Rodales. They are probably reaching more readers here that at Rodales. Hey, maybe they're in the Coco View expense ledger. Cheap, and I mean C-H-E-A-P, advertising:) <biersf@optonline.net> wrote in message news:3EFCB976.3030807@optonline.net... > Great article on Ambergris Caye in July's Rodale's magazine. All kinds of places don't advertise or advertise very little so few folks don't know much about them. How about St. Eustatius for openers? Ben Davison Undercurrent |
