Default Bermuda

I am going to be in Bermuda, Saint Georges, by myself next Monday thru
Wednesday. Any recommendations for dive operations in the Saint
George's area (or anywhere else, so long as they pick me up).

Thanks.

Hi
i live i bermuda, soi i thought i'd offer you some advice.
there is only 1 operator in the east of the island, they're called
Triangle Divers and work out of the Grotto Bay Hotel just over the
otherside of the causeway from the airport. They have recently changed
management and used to be called Scuba Look. I can only find a phone
number for Scuba Look, but knowing Bermuda it is probably the same
number so try 1-441-293-7319, or 1-441-293-7338.
i have never dived with them, but i hear that they're enthusiastic.
they will probably only dive the east end though. i have never dived
the east end, but many people here say that the west end is the better
dive destination, however this is some 45-50 mins drive from St
Georges where u are staying. If you fancy the ride, then i can
thoroughly recommend blue water divers ( www.diverbermuda.com ) who
work out of robinsons marina at somerset bridge and dive the western
area. i dive with this company weekly as a club member and know all
the staff and dive sites that they visit. there is also a company in
Hamilton called dive bermuda ( http://www.bermudascuba.com ) who work
out of the Hamilton Princess and the Southampton Princess - they tend
to dive the west end too.
it might be a good idea to book a couple of dives with each company,
depending on how much diving u intend to do, which will give you a
balanced exposure to the islands diving. You will need a 3mm full wet
suit and hood at the moment, or a 5mm shorty.
let me know how u get on.

I dove with Scuba Look last year and found that they ran a great operation.
Well maintained boat with a dry cabin to get out of the cold. Nitrox. Dive
shop manager and his girlfriend were Canadian. Don't know if they are still
with the shop. Dove with the shop that was there before Scuba Look four
years ago and they also ran a good operation.

My question for you Submersible Sid -- I have dove a lot of the wrecks
around Grotto Bay, dove in some of the inland caves (Big Blue and Mrs
Tucker's Cave) is there anything else I should dive the next time I visit
Bermuda? Have I missed anything?

Thanks for the suggestion. I just got back, and I did dive with
Triangle. Visability was so-so, but a nice operation. On the wreck
dive I saw what looked like a lion fish. The divemaster told me there
had been reports of them in Bermuda, but this was the first one they
had seen.

Regards.
