I was talking to someone in a railway station during an interval who
turned out to be just back from Bulgaria, Varna I think. He said he'd
never seen any sign of people diving there.

Hi, this is Tom from Poland.

Yes, you can dive in Bulgaria, but it is not easy to find a dive center.
And, I must mention, it can be a "hardcore" experience for people got used
to comfortable conditions.

People from my diving club are about to set off for Bulgaria so by the end
of August I will be able to provide detal information.

Errr, this is a UK group, diving is generally uncomfortable,
especially in the Winter. Nobody to kit you up and kick you off the
boat here

Well, I was writing about conditions on a land: low standard of bases,
problems with air (AFAIK there were a few fatalities last year because of
polluted air in a cylinder) etc.
