I know how far Phuket is that's why I ask if there it's is such a good dive compared with Cambodia that it's worthy to go there instead of staying in Cambodia ... Anyway, thanks for your information - I can see you're well-informed - about the coral, reef, animals, diving conditions, etc. > > or is there any other place closer? > You could drive from Bangkok to the Cambodian border in 3-4 hours. |

Sorry. I misunderstood your original question. > Anyway, thanks for your information - I can see you're well-informed - > about the coral, reef, animals, diving conditions, etc. I didn't think the Andaman Sea diving was so hot, so I personally wouldn't interrupt a three-week vacation somewhere else to make a 2+ hour flight to Phuket to go diving. But then I wouldn't plan a dive trip to an area where I knew nothing about the diving. That you haven't heard anything about the diving speaks for itself. >> > or is there any other place closer? | Hi, I'm considering going for a 3 weeks trip to Cambodia. I'd like to spend some days (3/6) diving. Does anybody have any experience diving there? Cambodia is not very famous because of its diving but I don't know if it's because it's not very spectacular or just because it's not exploited yet. How rich is the coral & life there? If it's not very good, would it be worthy try to get Phuket from there or is there any other place closer? Thanks Jorge |
