Tofino is a slice of Paradise, you're going to love it! I didn't get a
chance to dive there but there's a good dive shop right on the waterfront
downtown. Lots to see, although there will be a current. Plenty of
wildlife, quite scenic. Bring plenty of film and I do mean plenty.

An old friend owns a lovely BB right on Chesterman's Beach: www.solwood.com
tell her Skip says hi if you stay there.

Port Alberni is far inland; I don't know how good the diving would be there.

One of my best diving experiences was diving the west coast of Vancouver
Island on a live-aboard: "Nautilus Explorer". Diving just about anywhere
in the Pacific North West, including all of Georgia, Johnson and/or
Juan-de-Fuca Straights, and you can't go wrong!

Default diving in British Columbia, west coast of Vancouver Island

Hello,

we plan our next dive trip to Canada, BC. We did some dives there in
2003, but we still want more. I have a lot of information, books and
links about this area, but I did not find much about diving at Tofino,
Port Alberni or Ucluelet.

Any recommendations?

Thanks a lot
