| There's a new dive shop opening in Stansted on Saturday 15th May, they are located at 10 Chapel Hill, Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex. The web site is http://www.2dive4.co.uk/. It's a nice looking little shop, they have a compressor (air only at present) and offer all the usual PADI courses. As an offer to the locals they are giving free air fills, max of 2 per day, up until 1st August to BSAC divers, just produce your membership card (others - talk to them?). For the local clubs you can have a free 20 fill card for your training cylinders if you ask them. Keith L [It's nothing to do with me, I'm just giving the locals a plug!] |

Now Now. You shouldn't criticise deeply held beliefs. Oh well. I'm on a course next week and I've just discovered that I'm supposed to have air in the twinset, OK that's what its got, but 70% in a stage. I've got 80% so I'm going to have to blow a bit off and top it up. Air top! Where's my BSAC card.. No hang on... Stanstead? As you were. -- nigelH Allegedly: Seaford MP Norman Baker was horrified to hear that the UK tax payers were to fund a 300 million pound clean up bill for the Springfields Nuclear Processing Plant. He tabled two separate parliamentary questions demanding that the Trade and Industry Secretary explain why British Nuclear Fuels was spending so much money on an American problem? A junior minister informed Mr Baker that Springfields is near Preston in Lancashire and this was not the US plant run by American entrepreneur Monty Burns. |

They could be, I just don't know. As for prices... you could be seeing the "traditional" retail price maintenance [allegedly] so beloved by UK distributors K |

I used that in a stage for the first (and last time) on my trimix course. Why on earth are you using that mix? Jason -- See http://www.scuba-addict.co.uk/ to view UK dive spaces or add your own. |

I'm guessing it's the "nobody can get a 6m stop this wrong" mix. Looks good on the risk assessment. nigelH |
