Default Hello from Canada

If anyone is interested in rebreather diving I have a blog up and
running covering SCUBA and rebreather diving, with lots of links to
rebreather related webistes, also information on diving in Canada and
octopus diving images - it is at www.octopus-diver.com

I have done most of my diving in BC, and a little while travelling to
the Dominican Republic and Mexico. I started commercial diving
(seafood harvesting) in the early 1980s, and continued until 1989. I
fished for swimming scallops, octopus, and aquarium specimens, now dive
for fun. I dive a Russian 64 model O2 rig, and am working on my
homebuilt.

Default Re: Hello from Canada

I live at Ottawa now - so have to migrate to the coast every so often
to get wet.

Thanks for peeking at the pics, they were taken by my dive buddy (the
underwater ones) while I was harvesting the octopus. They are actually
stills from his video.

I do most of my diving along the BC coast - Queen Charlottes, Prince
Rupert, Bella Bella, Port Hardy and Victoria areas. Used to have a
dive boat but dive boats eat $$ faster than throing the money down the
toilet. It's way more wallet friendly to use your buddies' boats. ;)

I'll be updating the blog regularly.

What part of the world are you writing from?
