| Hurricane Ivan changed the itinerary of both the Pacific Princess and the Royal Caribbean for today (Sept 20) from Grand Cayman to Ocho Rio. Since I had never dived there before, I decided to do a two-tank dive scheduled by the cruiseship, though with low expectation of the quality of the dives. The morning two-tank dive drew 3 passengers from the Pacific Princess (my wife and I were two of them; ship passenger capacity 638), and 5 passengers from the RCCL (passenger capacity 2000+). The dives were BEYOND my low expectation: They were the most expensive, shortest, and worst two-tank dives I've ever done anywhere in the Caribbean. ;-( "Been there; done that; never again." -- Bob. |
