Default Grand Cayman

We're leaving Thursday for the east end.....I can't remember if the Cayman's
allow dive gloves. Anyone know for sure? Thanks.

Allowed or not- not needed there at any rate. Don't bother with them.

Some of the dive operators do, others don't. I don't recommend them, although
I always carry them with me.

I was there this summer on 7-mile side - NO Gloves

Not every gloved diver hurts the coral, and you already know this.

I wore my gloves when diving with Dive N' Stuff and the corals remained safe
and sound around me. However, when we dove with Ocean Frontiers for one
day, I was told "it's against the law". When I loudly called bullshit, the
DM offered to show me a copy of "the law". Not wanting to draw further
attention to myself, I gave in and kept the gloves off. Of course that's
that only time I noticed any damage to corals as a couple divers with poor
buoyancy control and even one of the OF DMs kicked the coral at one site.
That's why I'll never dive with Ocean Frontiers again.
