1st you are, rarely, incorrect about most anything factual. But here, about me,
you are.

Heck I'm not that old. In the '60's I was still in high school and college. I
joined the Navy on "Moon Day" 7/20/69. Got a day reprieve because of the Apollo
landing.

What I knew about diving then was that Mike Nelson always cut the exhaust hose
of the bad guys. Heck, you can't kill off the stunt divers now can you.

I wasn't even certified until mid summer 1990.

In 1989 we were in Hawaii on vac and were wondering about what we wanted to do
for our 20th aniv.

We narrowed it down to either Austrailia, or a small cruise ship up Alaska.

Since we were in Hawaii, we did a couple resort courses on two different Isl's.

We were hooked, and have been diving ever since. Went to Austrailia and the
GBR, and then stayed and dove Heron Isl. for a week.

I was mostly an observer on scuba-l, and then it went web based.

I might be still a member, don't know as I haven't been there in years.

Thing is, that you most always are on a rant.

Years ago you were really blasting everything. You said that you were leaving
for good. That was a sad day.

You came back and seemed in a better mood. Now you are in the same place again.

You are a very good contributor when you want to be. All this is, imho, a waste
of your talents and experience.

I would very much rather hear about your latest experience in Coz. Since you
are imho, Mr. Coz.

Take a break, be nice, be informative as you can very well be.

Heck, just listen to me and Jammer. We differ, but I still like and respect his
opinion. We differ sometimes, and we agree sometimes. Still I respect him.

It's ok to blast someone, but to keep it going and going like the Energizer
Bunny does nobody anygood. And, unfortunately, makes you seem... Well I don't
want to insult you, so I won't.

There is no need to write a novel to prove me wrong about facts about
you on what I consider to be an OBVIOUS typo.

Scuba-L didn't come into existence till 1988. I was there when there
were only three subscribers who were scuba divers.

That's why I remembered you in Scuba-L in the early 1990s, not long
after you were certified, according to your present account.

The rest of my private reply to Pat snipped. There is no point in
going over any of it here, because I have already expressed more than
once that I am not shy to DEFEND myself, against gratuitous attack by
others.

I did not consider Pat's post an attack. Merely his misunderstanding
about several key issues because he had NOT been following the relevant
posts by ME, or the threads.

Not entirely his fault either. Too much NOISE by the noise makers.
So, I explained that to Pat privately what he misunderstood.

For what I have to say publicly, EVERYTHING needs to be said had been
said publicly and in the archives. I was (and me) merely rehashing
some of them because flammers are too busy attacking me on the SAME
falsehood and mistakes of THEIRS, and too forgetful and/or too lazy
to read what had already been posted and readily avaiable in the
public archives.

In a few cases, attackers like Lee (when possessed by Mr. Hyde) and
chilli (her usual self) are too DUMB to have admitted they don't
have to read what I posted to attack me on the basis of snippets
posted by others.

Greg, I believe that Bob's jihad against Aldora was because he was not
accepted as a walk-up customer. If that was their policy so be it.
Not Aldora's fault that Bob won't let ot go or uses their name to
disparage those who patronize Aldora.

You apparently do not like Aldora for some reason. That is your
choice but at least you do not use Aldora and Idiot to describe
someone.

...... heeeere comes da Feeesh. Looks like I'll dive in at least five
of those islands. Some of the SHARKS (with fins or 2-legged) in
Moorea and Bora Bora may recognize me. This will make the 3rd time
I dive on those islands since the Tahiti Aggressor (on different
islands) in Dec 2002. Sure beats hanging around sharks and
ramoras (suckers) in ngs. )
