 For Popeye and The Club WASHINGTON, May 16 - Democrats who are highly critical of President Bush's Iraq war strategy suffered a stinging defeat today when the Senate overwhelmingly rejected a measure to cut off money for the military campaign by March 31, 2008. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/...s/4810823.html "It was considered absolute heresy four months ago" to stop the war, said Sen.
