| Well, here's a crap piece of legislation coming out of Congress HR2391, the Intellectual Property Protection Act might effectively make TiVO illegal. Among it's many "anti-piracy" provisions, it would prevent consumers from using devices to skip commercials "that would otherwise be performed or displayed before, during or after the performance of the motion picture,". Of course, both the RIAA and the MPAA support the bill. Call your Congress critter now, particularly your Senator. http://www.wired.com/news/politics/0...w=wn_tophead_2 for more info. -- dillon "When the French are against it, you know we can't be far wrong." - Adm. Hmmm....I'd support that legislation if it meant banning the commercials that the networks have started to display during the show I'm watching (ads for whats coming up next, 2 hours, next week, etc). I hate that. Dennis > -- > dillon > > "When the French are against it, you know we can't > be far wrong." - Adm. Bobbie Ray Inman |

This is what happens when Congress is beholden to the people that give them money instead of their constituents. |

Bobbie Ray Inman My senators have heard my opposition to this legislation... now to see if they listen. By the way, this has already passed in the House. |

Then I suppose it's a good time to mention that I finally saw Open Water and it did suck, except for the nude scene of course. After that scene I kept hoping that the sharks would tear her wetsuit off with their teeth because only an underwater nude scene could have topped it. But no such luck. |
