Default Re: 3 missing in WPB Fl / Divers Supply "coverup"!

I've spent the last few days reading each and every post made by Dan
and his advocates, and I'm going to try and be as neutral as possible
being in the shoes that I am in. Those shoes being a daily employee of
Divers Supply, being a great friend of Mark McNatt (Dick McNatt's son),
and talking, with and working for Dick daily. I've spoken with both of
them about these issues and the events that led up to and include just
about everything I've seen in these postings. I will say I am coming in
after-the-fact, and I wasn't around when it happened, but then the
postings I have read are fairly aged and I found them on a Google
search, and with this in mind, I want anyone else who happens across
these postings to know what I know from an internal view rather than a
bunch of external speculation and rhetoric.

As I said, Mark is a great friend of mine and I am very close to the
McNatt family. The loss of two of those 2 students was devastating for
them. Obviously no company wants the emotional backlash of something
like this, but they were truly crushed over these events. On top of
that Andre was a lifelong friend of the entire family, and Mark, my
good friend, talks of him regularly. They miss him as if he were their
own son. This was a major loss for this family as well.

No death under any circumstances would ever be taken well, but all of
the accusations I have read in the last few days here are completely
unwarranted. EVERYONE here has suffered over this event.

I talked with Mark last night and asked him about these issues and he
told me (which I assure you, we discuss alot of stuff and he'd never
lie to me) that the WKPP issue and the alledged prevention of them
assisting, being involved with, or being in charge of the search and
recovery effort was in no way a coverup. They were in the way of an
investigation looking for limelight...period...end of story.

I won't get into specific issues unless someone wants to know and
contacts me, but WKPP has had more accidents than ANYONE and for them
to be involved in this tragedy was a publicity stunt and a travesty.

Dan Volker is a coward and a "Golden Girl" that twists truths to
reflect back on himself in a predetermined fashion, at anyones expense.

Enough has been written about this. I understand these posts are fairly
old, but after seeing how many there were, I decided to write this, and
post it on every one of them.

I've dove for 20 years and have never come across a more professional,
concerned and respected dive company.

That is all I have to say.

If you are a potential customer and wish to hear the truth, contact me
and I'll give you all of the substantiated evidence you will need to
make an informed decision.

I dunno, I was knee deep in the incident, it was what brought me to
Rec.scuba.

I was just curious.

Last week a post from Abaduck came through from 2002, I didn't know if it was
some cyber hiccup.

Some letters reportedly took 20 years and more to be delivered, may be a
bit dirty and stinking stale.
Why should it be different in usenet?

Perhaps, but it was the same account that posted the same message under
several different headers.

Weird. Same message under multiple headers. I could understand
dredging up something several years ago, but he's got more redundancy
than a cave diver.
