| Hello Steve this is Christian StClaire and Yes I am still alive somewhere on the world. I have faced in my Scuba Diving career (if you can call it that) a lot of uphill battle trying to educate on what quality means and I can talk at lenght on the subject based on all my developments since 1984 for the diving industry, as far as those tyes they were manufactured specially to do one thing which is to keep the mouth piece on since my research on the subject prior to manufacture was that mouth pieces stayed on the mouth but the regulator took off (much more common than you think) just ask DAN about the amount of diving accident related to the subject. Anyway the tye I called the "360" for one not so obvious reason : the tye head design cinched the mouth piece all around unlike the other tyes which have a blank spot at the head which was the big unseen problem. I still control the mold and if enough people want them I could run a few 1000 Secondly those tyes were aquaphobic and UV stable material, what more do people want for $0.45 that bring them safety and piece of mind Enough rumbling on my part but I always tooks such matter at heart and try to come with the most sensible solution feel free to drop me a line StClaireUSA@GMail.com I am at the moment in the USA |
