Default diving schools in the SF bay area

I plan to sign up for a padi open water scuba class at one of the sf
bay area's diving schools.
As there are quite a few schools to choose from, I am interested in
people's opinions - any school you can recommend, or you have
not-so-good experience with?
Thanks!

Where do live in the Bay Area? Geography counts for something.
You don't want us recommeding instructors in Santa Rosa if you live
in Gilroy, or vice versa.

And it's the instructor that counts, much more so than the shop.

Milpitas.
Anything between burlingame, oakland and gilroy would be ok (i.e. 30-40
min drive I can deal with).
Pleasanton etc is probably a bit far.
