OT:Cop Killing in Kirkwood MO

Last Sunday a Kirkwood cop was executed by a 19 year old person well
known to the police

Here are the fact as reports by the local news

The police responded to an area frequented by a probation violator in an
attempt to find him and take him into custody

He sees the police and knows that they are looking for him

He gives the keys to his White SUV to his 12 year old half brother who
has a heart condition to take to his grandmother at the house next door,
so that he isn't found

The 12 year old takes the keys next door, and has to climb a set of stairs

The 12 year old with the heart condition suffers a heart attack or
experiences an incident in which he falls unconscious

The police in the area searching for the probation violator call 911 and
continue to search and secure the area

The probation violator watches the scene undetected by the police

The 12 year old dies

A Kirkwood Police officer later responds to a call in the area to
unauthorized fireworks.

As the police office stops to talk to a kid on the street about the
complain - the 19 year old probation officer approaches the police car
from the passenger side and firs several shots into the police cruiser,
injuring the police officer and the boy the officer is speaking to.

The police car rolls forward and the perp walks up on the police cruiser
firing more shots into the officer fatally wounding him

The 19 year old shooter is positively identified at the scene by the boy
wounded in the fire and several eye witnesses.

The Kirkwood, MO police department is now under fire for not rendering
aid to the 12 year old that died (from a known bad heart) while the
shooter saw what was happening and chose to hide than to give himself up
so that emergency help could render the dying boy medical help

The shooter has claimed that he is innocent.

Go figure.
