Default Help with Podcast - Sea Hunt

Underwater Videographer

Well, here goes. I know this might sound odd to you all, but I will put this
out there as you never know. This year is the 50th anniversary of Sea Hunt
going on TV. I wanted to do a podcast interview with someone connected with
the show as a way of commemorating the 50th. Also, I have talked to so many
divers that will credit Sea Hunt with their initial interest in getting into
diving, me included.

Does anyone know anyone connected with Sea Hunt? Believe it or not, I
thought I had a lead about two weeks ago, but it may not go anywhere.

My email is marshallkarp@hotmail.com.

Thanks.

Wasn't there an article on Lloyd Bridges in one of the dive magazines
recently? You might get a lead from the author. Didn't they interview his
stunt double? (Either that or his stunt double died and it's his obituary
I'm thinking of.) Bridges' sons also talked recently about growing up and
being on the Sea Hunt set.

Ben, I appreciate the suggestions. I have thought about Beau and
Jeff, but they are big name actors. Still, you never know until you
try. Let me see what is possible with that. If anyone knows about
that dive magazine article, please post that information.

Thanks.

By the way, I know where the Argonaut, Mike Nelson's boat, is. It is here:
www.seahuntadventures.com. Someone bought it and restored it. I believe
the gentleman's name is Andy and I may approach him for an interview.

I know, call this stupid, but I found Jeff Bridges' website and contact
information and sent an interview request to talk about memories of his
father and Sea Hunt to his publicist. I know, I know, but I figured I had
to try.

I looked on IMDB.COM and there is a listing of a bunch of people involved.
Most are deceased. There is an actress, Zale Parry, that shows as still
being alive, and she was in a movie, "The Tillamook Treasure". She was and
still is a very famous diver. Here is also an article about her

And I know where Zale Parry is. I'll be having dinner with her at the
Innisbrook Golf Resort Saturday the 27th.

Well, I did email Andy at www.seahuntadventures.com to see if he would do an
interview with me about the Argonaut, how he acquired it, his restoration,
and plans.

I appreciate the help and will keep you posted.
