Default Off R.I. coast a well recognized NJ SCUBA diver dies during ascent

Like to know:
1 At what depth was he diving ?
2 What caused his death ? Accident, lungs, heart, etc. ?
3 Presume he was camcorder recording something.
Will whatever he was recording be available on the web ?

Our sincere sympathy to his family and those left behind.
Are their lessons to be learned from this tragedy ?

Wow... A WebTV weenie who managed to make a post that is somewhat
coherent... I'm not sure, but I think that this is a FIRST... Maybe there is
hope for the domain yet... Maybe it's just a fluke... Of course, they still
don't know not to post in HTML, but coherent thought is quite a first
step...

Is this the death that you are referring to. If so, the answer to your
questions is in the news quote from The Express-Times

<<The Rhode Island Medical Examiner's office has ruled deep-sea diver
Stephen Hardick's death a drowning related to heart, liver and
gastrointestinal conditions.

<<Hardick, 60, of Phillipsburg, died Sunday afternoon during a diving
expedition off the coast of Block Island, R.I. The renowned diver and
instructor hadn't been feeling quite right in recent weeks but didn't
suspect any serious health conditions, according to his wife Kay
Hardick.

<<"He hadn't been feeling himself, but he knew he'd be going to the
doctor within the next few weeks," she said.

I would - having my friends do a body recovery would not be good. Sides it'd
wrek their diving for the day
(Grumman, of course, would simply say "fish gotta eat too" and proceed on,
while Popeye checks to see if I had any gear he wanted.
