diving online community, with a little bit more interactivity, then

There will be a new points system very soon, which will allow users to
gain points for posts, youtube video uploads, pictures, etc, then
trade them in for dive gear and dive trips...now that is what i am
talking about!

There is a mod written for it, over abuse of the points system will
result in a ban. So not to worry!

There hasn't been a system yet that can't be gamed.

In any event, a "prize" isn't necessarily worth however many thousands
of points it takes to 'earn' them if its something like a thinly
disguised "come listen to my timeshare" pitch.
