lost PADI card?

Is there way to get a replacement card? My buddy had a card years ago & is
interested in diving again but not so interested in taking the course again,
mainly because the nearest place to do it is an hour away & he works 2 jobs.
anyone have any ideas how to get a new card? Thanks!

If you don't like the guy, just tell him to contact PADI to buy a
replacement card. If he is really a "Buddy", tell him to at least take
a refresher. "Years ago" can mean many things but most importantly, it
can mean he might hurt himself. If he doesn't want to take a refresher,
ask him if you can take a life insurance policy out on him!

Nawh, all he needs is to get a replacement card so that he can more easily
get air fills... He can get his gear and proceed to get reacquainted with
it by doing some progressive dives from a boat dock or in a swimming
pool... Darwin will be there to watch over him...
