Mine or Greg's?

If mine, what URL were you using and where did it cause a problem?

Greg can only piss from behind the safety of his monitor, and from his
fortified position of arrogance and Narcissism.

Which means he can never get it out long enough to do anything but make
himself out the bigot and punk he is, and dribble on himself.

He just likes to think some flowery words will fool someone long enough to
get them to think he is OK.

And from there, he needs to feel that he is better than others.

The only reason I said anything about his mediocre pictures (and they are
truly mediocre) is because he shit on a fellow diver and a good photographer
(that he doesn't know) just to take a cheap shot at me.

Great pictures aren't taken by mediocre people, and besides, I wont
compliment him in the smallest way.

What I will do, and have always done, is challenge him to run his fucking
mouth to my face, which he will never do, and he and I both know why.

Any time he wants to ball up and act like a man he is welcome to try me on.

Other than that, his pictures suck, he is a treasonous liar and a punk.

It's easy to see why Ann Coulter is such an icon to the peculiar
right. She's arrogant, presumptuous, vituperative, condescending,
smug, nasty, and prone to hyperbole - all those things a few here seem
to really respect in a fellow traveller. Of course they forget that
her real concern is getting more books sold. Some icon. Bet there's
lots of sensible conservatives who cringe every time they hear her
name, realizing full well how her self promotion paints all
conservatives with the stupid brush.

I gave plenty of notice of my Palau trip. I didn't see you show up to
meet me there and "run your suck" as you would say.

Let's see your pictures, trailer boy.

Yeah, I didn't think so. All talk.

Cite? If you're talking about some mediocre shots you posted awhile
back that were blown away by even my earliest point-and-shoot
attempts, I think you need to get your eyes checked. Aren't there
free clinics up there where you can get new glasses? You also need to
look up the meaning of "shit". If minor criticism is considered
"shitting on", then it's no wonder you're such a failure in life.
What a crybaby. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Where's your face? You've chickened out of at least two Dive With
Greg events to date, not to mention never showing up whenever I
provide clear notice of where and when I'll be in other places around
the world.

I heard the last time, certain people even offered to pay for your
airfare to Florida because you're always so broke, yet you still
chickened out. What was your excuse then?

AC is all those things, and you're correct, it's just her shtick. She's
in it for the money. SK on the other hand is an arrogant, presumptuous,
vituperative, condescending, smug and nasty idiot.

Too much, if you ask me. I'm already frustrated that I can't go back
and reshoot all the stuff I missed on the first try. The worst is
having to make the choice each dive to shoot macro or wide angle,
since most dives offer a great combination of both.

Exactly. Also, you know when something is rare in water you're
familiar with. In Palau, you might waste valuable minutes trying to
get one particular different-looking fish, only to find an entire
school of them on the next dive.

Thanks. I have to say that shooting in Palau was especially
frustrating. It reminded me of trying to shoot in Kona, where the
best-looking fish pop out of nowhere and disappear again before you
even have time to swing over the camera, let alone compose and focus
and pop off a shot. As patient as you might be, the fish don't
reappear. Caribbean fish are lazy by comparison. For every one fish
I managed to capture, there were 10 more species that got away.

The most frustrating experience was trying to shoot the mating
mandarinfish. Heck, even shooting the mandarinfish not mating was
next to impossible because they don't stop flitting around and they're
buried deep inside the corals, making autofocusing at night with a
picky lens like the 105mm next to impossible. I kicked myself all
that night, since I might have been able to get the "money shot" had I
used the 60mm.

I only did 22 dives there, mostly all different sites. A few hundred
more would help.

Those purple anemones are amazing, sometimes all balled up so that no
tentacles are left exposed (and leaving the poor nemos high and dry).
Damselfish are the easiest to shoot because unlike the skittish fish,
they're so aggressive they'll stick around to harrass you and make the
best expressions on their cute little faces.

I just posted yet another anenomefish, but this one is my favorite.
It's the last of the Clark's, before the set of pinks begins. This
was shot at Orange Beach on Peleliu, site of the U.S. invasion.
Someone motioned me over to check it out and I couldn't see what the
fuss was about, but I squeezed off a couple shots to be polite. Then
a little surge flipped up an edge of the anemone and I could see the
eggs underneath.

> Welcome back, by the way.

Thanks. I'm still shaking off that nasty jet lag. It never seems as
bad when you cross the Pacific the other way, or even if you cross the
Pacific in one shot heading east, but when you do it Continental's
way, hopping from island to island, it messes you up for days. This
was my fifth return trip via Guam and it doesn't get any better no
matter how much I try to prepare for and alleviate it. Supposedly
Continental will be putting in a 777 to run a direct LAX-GUM flight as
soon as next year. That would make life a lot easier.

All my macro fish pictures are done now, with just a few more shots
from the Blue Holes/Blue Corner, Mandarinfish Lake, and Jellyfish Lake
left to post. I consider these some of my best since I finally got
the hang of shooting blue water wide-angle and it's hard to go wrong
at Jellyfish Lake. Work and sleep are unfortunately getting in the
way, but I should have everything up by tonight.

Like I said, I'm astonished at what I missed. I only managed to get
one triggerfish and a couple wrasses, but that's because the midsize
fish make difficult subjects for either macro or wide-angle lenses.
Likewise, there were plenty of damsels and anthias swarming around,
but I was ignoring them in favor of getting the "different" stuff and
realized I ended up with no shots of some of the most common species
there. Two of my hawkfishes are lousy, but that's how I ended up with
a count of four. The little ones, "pygmy" and "dwarf", are extremely
skittish. Finally, the butterflies were incredibly diverse, but
again, very hard to shoot on the wall dives as they'd always be in a
crevice or travelling up and down the wall with their faces pointed at
the wall. I managed to shoot 8 different ones and a few of those were
salvaged from bad shots, but there were plenty more. I need to go
back!

Picasa ain't mine, it's Google's. Don't blame me.

What's "Netscape" anyway?
