You mean the guy who thinks bragging about vacations makes him better, right or sane? The guy that tosses the Americans that ensure "he" (Yahweh forgive me) and his life; free, cheap and safe, under the bus? Yes, that guy. You know, the guy who quoted poll after poll after poll, only to *lose*. *AGAIN* Yeah; that guy. Oh, but wait; "I could prove God statistically. Take the human body alone - the chances that all the functions of an individual would just happen is a statistical monstrosity." George Gallup "The death of one man is a tragedy. The death of millions is a statistic." Joe Stalin, comment to Churchill at Potsdam, 1945 <dim the lights> |

That's twice in one thread, a "hero worship" thread to boot. You really are jealous, aren't you? What a hoot. Wait until you see my pictures, trailer boy. |

Hillary isn't out yet. She's doubled her lead against Obama in PA. That's "gaining momentum" as far as I'm concerned. Michigan and Florida may still play a role. This contest will no doubt eventually be decided by the superdelegates, who hopefully will be smart enough to go with the candidate that can defeat McCain, i.e. the future Madam President. I sincerely hope that they dig up even more dirt on Obama between now and the convention. Maybe I should send her another check. |

Send the check to me - I'll be sure to get it to her - promise! I looked at your pictures from Palau - they were really good. The color and lack of back splatter were great. I really enjoyed the pictures of the interaction with the dolphins. I have swam with a wild dolphin in either St Thomas or St Maarten - can't remember without reviewing my log book. But it was a dive site in which a barge which had been sunk - the barge had been used as a military barrack in WWII - I think it was St Maarten - very cool experience. I have a nephew living on Kwajelein - Marshall Islands - he and his wife took up Scuba - they are loving it 0 he has taken some great photos |

Funny you should mention that. Before the Florida primary, Hillary was quite clear that she could care less about my state because we would have no deligates. She changed her tune almost immediately when she beat Obama here. I suppose that kind of inconsistency is common among lawyers. It's considered dishonest by everyone else. >> Maybe I should send her another check. Sounds like a good idea, a much better one that your normal preference for programs that spending everybody else's money. Lee |

They were used as enlisted men's quarters at the submarine base during WWII. They were scuttled after the war, but the location was so shallow the Navy went back to blow them up to reduce their profile. I remember it as a pretty fun dive, but I didn't see any wild dolphins there. Lucky you! gc |

I had booked the dive myself (I was on a cruise) The dive boat had 4 people on it - the captain, the dive master, and one female diver. She aborted her dive about 5 minutes in - the dive master let me go anywhere and everywhere until I was out of air. The dolphin played with me (????) for about 20 minutes - I tried to grabbed onto the dorsal fin - once got about a 3 second ride. St Maarten sucked - cattle boat - scheduled thru the cruise line. I try to schedule my own dives - but was not familiar with St Maarten or St Thomas - someone here gave me the dive operation in St Thomas - that referral turned out great |

I think it's notable that Explorer Ventures runs a liveaboard in that area that docks in St. Maarten but doesn't dive until Saba. Do you remember who you dove with in St. Thomas? I have gone out with three different operators there while on business trips four years ago. I found them all very accommodating. One was Admiralty Dive Center, which picked me up at the hotel and took me out even though I was the only diver. I also dove with Blue Island Divers, where I once found myself the only diver besides an instructor and his OW students. They let me do a solo dive. And the operation at Secret Harbor Resort actually held the boat for me for 30 minutes so I could get there from Charlotte Amalie by cab after another trip was canceled. I was not overly impressed with St. Thomas diving, but I can't say enough good about the operators I used. gc |

First trip out I was the only customer on the boat. I was impressed that they still went out. Dennis |
