| http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/...207105034.html than he could have done some real damage to those on his "list". Seems this bloke was the classic profile of those involved in US school massacres :- bullied, no friends, retreats into violent video games etc. Here in Aus ( limited access to guns) one dead from a knife in the US (liberal access to guns) many dead from bullets. Sorry to post off topic but after reading the crap posted on this ng and with such parallels with the profiles of the "perps' in different countries but with such a difference in result I had to post. |

Theoretically, more with the knife since he wouldn't have to reload... He would get tired after awhile though... -- See NNTP header field "X-Real-Email-Address" to reply by email. |

US situation Mum and Dad dead and than move over to the "LIST". Availability of guns shows this would be a likely situation in the US |

They seem to keep their massacrees fairly quiet though. Then again, maybe it's got nothing to do with the guns? |

It would be hard to find two better examples in a single post. |

Stop it. You're mixing apples and oranges. There are rednecks and crackers and extreme rightists. Some, but not many people, are all three. I, for example, am a Cracker, and proud of it. It's displayed right on the front of my pickup truck and on the front of my ATV. I'm not a redneck, although I do have a few friends that are. I'm not an extreme rightist either. In fact, most tests show me to be a bit of a centrist. The one thing I'm not, however, is a gun nut. I'm a patriot. I believe in the Constitution and that the Bill of Rights means what it says. I agree with the Supreme Court of the United States, that the right to keep and bear arms is an individual right that does not depend on being a member of a militia, whatever you perceive a militia to be. The gun nuts are the ones that are so afraid of guns, and of anyone actually prepared and willing to tend to their own defense, that they feel a need to ban all of them. Rednecks, crackers and extreme rightist are almost never gun nuts. Lee |
