| Hi, over the weekend I got a little shipwreck map running at http://sub-log.com/shipwreck_map. Let me know what you think. The goal is to make it entertaining for browsing - I doubt I'll have enough detail to make it useful for actual dives on the wrecks. There are a dozen or so historic and interesting wrecksites that are displayed immediately and you can search the database for more. The system was initially loaded with the NOAA Automated Wreck and Obstruction Information System (AWOIS) database which has about 12,000 entries in US coastal waters. Now I could use a good bulk source for significant worldwide wreck positions and info. thanks- Paul www.sub-log.com |
