Default Back to Force Fins

You may recall after I lost one of my Force Fins I ordered a set of Apollo Bio Fins
based on Scubadiving magazine recommendations. Well, I tried the Biofins in San Diego
Yukon waters and found them totally uncomfortable with cramping of calf muscles and
forefoot pinching. I sent the heavy Biofins back and exchanged for another set of
Force Fins Pro, and I'm back to enjoying diving again. The Force Fins are the most
comfortable--they feel like an extension of my feet.

In Eilat I swapped fins with my buddy and was pleased with his Atomic split fins,
which also felt comfortable and efficient, but are much larger than my Force Fins.

Send me an address, and I'll send you my spare Quats.

Keep 'em as long as you need, if trips are infrequent.

I got lots.

Lotsa quats, eh?

A buddy who gave up diving on doctor's orders gave me his Force Fins and
some Apollos. I usually prefer my BioFins but I will be trying out the
Force Fins someday. From what I understand the kick is quite different and
it may take me a while to get comfortable with them. I have not seen many
divers using them since the year they were introduced.

If you're referring to Mares Quattro Fins I looked into them years ago and tried them
on and did not think they would work for me. My feet and ankles are very stiff and
most fins pinch the front part of my foot and cause strain. The Force Fin foot
pocket grabs my foot only at the rear near the ankle and works well for me.
