Hurricane affect in Playa De Carmen

My wife and I are planning a trip to Playa de Carmen in a few weeks.
Does anyone know if the recent hurricanes have affected the diving
conditions? Thanks

Well, it wasn't hit as hard as Cozumel and I just got back from
there... I would expect the deeper reefs to still be in pretty good
shape, but the shallower ones will at the very least have a bit of sand
deposited on them... The quantity of marine like seemed somewhat
reduced in Coz...

Not sure about the diving, but the grocery store is gone.

Did you dive in Cozumel when you were there (most recently?) If so,
how was it? Also, what grocery store is gone (in Cozumel or Playa Del
Carmen)?

I was in Playa before the storm, haven't been back since. The grocery
store was pretty much the only in Playa
