chilly & e-mail

Now, not only am I not getting your messages, you're not getting mine. I
got the following message several times yesterday:

..net 007: This e-mail message was undeliverable due to the
following reason:

..net 015: The destination mail system was not reachable withing the
allowed period.

Note: This error message is usually due to one of the following
network problems:
a. The recipient's mail system is turned off.
b. The destination mail system is not currently running.

Solution:
Attempt to resend, or contact the recipient by alternate means to
let them know about the issue.

Your message was not delivered within 4 days and 0 hours.
Host shaw.ca is not responding.

The following recipients did not receive this message:

Your e-mail address was shown.

Is it just your bellsouth addy or did you try with the ix as well?

I think it's only the Bellsouth address. I'm not sure my Netcom account is
still set up for outbound mail.

Looks like shaw.ca is working and has mail servers up and accepting email

Maybe a local problem for Bellsouth, or a transient problem at shaw.ca

Lee, Chilly and I had no problems trading email. Try doing a DNS
lookup on shaw.ca or run traceroute

I can't send emails to Chilly either. I get a message like what lee

Is anyone else receiving emails from someone calling himself Rodney Ball and
advising that he's moved to Bangkok?

How come I can get those emails but not yours? :^)
