| What's the problem John? Lot's of "gun debate" going on here (which we assumed from years of your abuses of people and friendships, brought you much joy and satisfaction with your slacks), and all of a sudden you have nothing to say or add? No one to whet your intellectual superiority against? Or has your bullshit finally left the taste in your mouth that you took joy in putting into others? Had enough, or too considerate and reasonable to get involved? Fucking punk. -- When dealing with propaganda terminology one sometimes always speaks in variable absolutes. This is not to be mistaken for an unbiased slant. |

We paid $50 for 3 weeks for the dialup. It's the same one we used last year but the speed and connectivity were brutal this year. >Did you get into the caverns/caves? Fred and I had planned to get together but he got busy making up for time lost when he came home for Christmas. How was your diving there this year? JF |

How was your diving there > this year? Sorry to hear you didn't get into the cenotes - I've been there several times, and I'm still completely blown away by the incredible formations and limitless vis. We had an excellent trip. We stayed on the beach in Akumal and went cave diving every day for 9 days. We spent Christmas there. A few of the caves (Choc Mool, Taj Mahal and Maya Blue) had tannic water and milky vis above the halocline, but were not bad. The rest were spectacular. Beside the three mentioned, we did Aktun Ha, Grand Cenote and Kalimba in the Sac Aktun system, Nahoch Nachich and Dos Ojos. Fred gave us really good directions for finding the lines. We saw very few other cave divers and had most of the places to ourselves. The folks at the jungle fill station were great as always and made sure we had what we needed when we needed it. Everyone we dealt with (with the exception of the assholes in the Pemex station) bent over backwards to make us happy. we can't wait to go back. |

Have you read the material Fred (and Christoph) posted about the different cenotes? JF |

He was busy with someone else during our recent trip, and we never got to dive with him. They were in the same sytem we were in on one day, but we only saw them on the surface and in the parking lot. |
