| Quick update. Carol's sleeping off the first chemo session. No problems, no nausea, just a little tired, but it's been a bitching last three days (last three weeks, really). Had a MUGA heart scan on the 27th, a full body bone scan, CT and breast MRI on Monday, had a sentinel node biopsy and portacath installation on Friday and chemo today. Now we settle in for the hard part. We did get some good news, finally. The biopsy came back negative, so there's no involvment of the lymph nodes. She ordered a wig on Saturday. Kind of a sassy number. -- dillon Could have been is in the past Could be is in the future There is only the now |
