How so, Joe? Lee just said that there probably wasn't enough time for
someone carrying to do anything about it, and the shooter walked in with the
intent to die.

Obviously better control would have prevented the whole thing.

the threat that someone else might be carrying - you don't need any time
to do anything. Better control rarely stops anything which has been
shown ad nauseum

Well, I'm tempted to say that since it did happen in SoCal, so they probably
weren't *innocent* bystanders, but looking at the demographics, I see that
San Luis Obispo County voted correctly in the 2004 election...
