| I didn't find anything original yet, but here's something recent on the subject of Bob's e-mail address. From the doctor himself. I am pleased to report that my Large_Nassau_Grou...@Yahoo.com posting ID, which had been sabbotaged by a group of Travel Agents in the rec.travel.cruises newsgroup (with PUBLIC evidence that they had been filing FALSE abuse reports since that posting account was blocked by Google pending investigation) has now been restored by Google. Would have been deader without me attracting Hugh, Lee Bell, and the rest of the Gang. rec, scuba -- I didn't even make the TOP 10, not by a long shot. and the only reason I am even here is because Hugh Huntzinger's crossposting to stir up the scum elements like Lee and Magilla. The 280 threads in rec.travel.cruises is more than all THREE of the sci.stat groups put together (159 + 54 + 40 = 253). | "Reef Fish" <Large_Mouthed_Nagging_Grouper> wrote a lot of nonsense proving nothing more than his delusions of grandeur. I am kewl, I am omnipotent, I am god, I am reefer-fish, I am the best and have done the most, blah blah blah Nothing you've ever done impresses me as much as how much a stupid asshole you are on rec. scuba & rec. scuba locations. Change your mind? What mind? The statistician "mind" or the Scientologist "mind" In this case, you'll have to be more specific. |

| Bob Ling "Reef Fish" <Large_Nassau_Grouper@yahoo.com> wrote: > > Like I kept my mouth so shut in rec.travel.cruises that even Hugh > doesn't dare mess with me there as he does in rec.scuba? Bob apparently must have conveniently "missed" my debunking of his claims about Canon IS binoculars in the "Wildlife viewing in Alaska" thread there earlier this week. And since Bob has previously expressed his doubts that the Russian 356 wreck on Cayman Brac ever had a star painted on its bow...well, at least that's dive related: http://www.huntzinger.com/photo/1999/356bow-al.jpg -hh |

Aren't € Scientologists Christians? I'm surprised I don't know, but I don't. € No, I wouldn't classify it as a form of Christianity. This excerpt from Wikipedia describes it pretty well: Scientology is a system of beliefs and practices created by American pulp fiction[1] author L. Ron Hubbard in 1952 as a self-help philosophy. By 1960 Hubbard had redefined it as a "religion by its basic tenets". [2] The Church of Scientology, by far the largest organization promoting the belief system of Scientology, is sometimes referred to simply as "Scientology". The Church of Scientology presents itself as a religious non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of the human spirit and providing counseling and rehabilitation programs. Church spokespeople claim that Hubbard's teachings (called "technology" or "tech" in Scientology terminology) have saved them from addictions, arthritis, depression, learning disabilities, mental illness, cancer, homosexuality[3][4] and other perceived problems http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientology € As for being a statistician, the best response I can give to that is to list € all the times he's applied his advanced statistical abilities to scuba € issues. The list looks surprisingly like hh's list of dives in the Sister € Islands. € € ... € ... € ... € Those that can, do. Those that can't, teach. € And those who can no longer teach, consult. € Think about it. € € Lee € € |

Then he calls newsgroups a "dysfunctional world." Seems that there is a logical link here. Ron Lee |
