An accoutrement used for snorkeling, of course

I never question technique when there's results.

It's good advice. It doesn't always work though. If you can find a shop
that will allow you to test the masks in a pool, that'd be the best. My
shop didn't have a pool and it took me quite a few trips to find a mask that
worked (and I had to order it off the internet). My wife found the perfect
mask for her in one of those $15 snorkeling kits at K-Mart.

If you talk your buddy into driving and paying the parking meter and your
local shop owner into letting you top off your tanks off for free, it really
can be done. Just remember to bring your snorkel. I've even peed for free
at the Jack-in-the-Box at the top of Cress Street.

Wow... I'm surprised they let you get away with that. Did you just sneak
right up to the buiilding and let it fly?

Our LDS let me take the entire collection (one each in my size) of fins
to the pool on one of their training days after I wasn't 100% happy with
the ones I bought. (I didn't ask for a refund. I just said I preferred
my old Rocket fins to the new ones.) So I was able to compare my
Rockets to all the ones they carried, return the ones I bought first,
and then buy the ones I like best.

(That *that* with a mail order outfit.)
