My buddy in Florida needs to get off his ass and get certified. If he get's his cert earlier, I may even come down sooner. But, the last week of August is the tentative date. |

| August is usually the best time to dive Boynton. WPB is, according to TWC, the rainiest spot in the USA, and Boynton is just 15 min south. Just did 6 dives w/Splashdown & Loggerhead Sun-Tue. Vis was down, due to upwelling from the deep, rolling in and sweeping over the reef. If U were diving inside the reef, U were swimming sideways along the ledge, bearing E, heading N. Had Capt Jim drop us on the outside of the reef on my last dive Tue and it was a friggin FREIGHT TRAIN. Me and bro were having the time of our lives until we got swept out over the sand (DOH!) Managed to make it back to the reef, but burned some EAN doing so. The other folks stayed on the inside of the reef and a (successful) hunter attracted a couple teenybopper Bull Sharks. Always a fun place 2 dive. -- Rapid Rick "Just Dive, Baby" ""Magilla"" <cavey_curtis@$$ yahoo.com> wrote in message news:kwSkg.202359$Fs1.93760@bgtnsc05-news.ops.worldnet.att.net... > > "John Hanson" wrote > >>> My best dive is a West Palm Beach night drift dive or a Keys Wreck >>> dive. >>> >> Hot damn.
