The writing reads as "Societe Ceramique Maestricht"

Which leads to this:

The Societe Ceramique Maestricht was established at Maestricht in the
Netherlands by Guilaume Lambert & Cie in 1859, and in 1958 merged with NV de
Sphinx. The new company was called Sphinx Ceramique and, as far as we know,
is still operating in Maestricht (sometimes spelt Maastricht), Holland.

From here I have no idea how to tell what ship would use their plates.
Hopefully it helped a little though.

Just looked up their history.

Thomas Regout, founder of Sphinx in 1834 aquired Societe ceramique in 1958,
thus creating Sphinx Societé Ceramique. Your wreck is therfore for sure from
after 1958.
