Default Scuba diver dies after being rescued

Scuba diver dies after being rescued

A woman scuba diver who was pulled out of the water off Alki Beach
after losing consciousness Tuesday evening has died, according to
the King County Medical Examiner's Office.

The diver was initially taken to Harborview Medical Center shortly
after she and her diving partner were rescued near Seacrest Park
around 7 p.m.

The U.S. Coast Guard, which assisted the Seattle Fire Department in
the rescue, said the woman and her partner were about 100 feet down
in the popular diving area when one of the two ran out of air or
experienced a malfunction in a breathing device.

The two used the buddy breathing system to ascend until they were
approximately 10 feet below the surface of the water when the woman
lost consciousness, the Coast Guard said.

Scott,

Backoff!

Hush, back in your cage!

I'm not only pretty new here, butt also can't spend time here every day off
the week. Sometimes it takes a bit time to learn to know a whole lot of
people a bit personally. That would make "... there STILL is a person..."
more like a "... there AGAIN is...".

Now you know this, explain to me why I should have ignored him/his posting?

And if you think your the kind a guy that should be helping people like me,
feel free to start a weekly "people not to read" thread, maybe with an
"immediate killfile top ten".

Furthermore I take from your response you find Carl's posting (or all of his
postings) as uninteresting as I did. Thank you for your support!

Frank

You aint wearing any stripes.

You have never humped Mt. MF.

When you learn what that means, get back to me, and then maybe I'll laugh
when you presume to bark orders at me.

We all learned that they weren't DIR because DIR divers don't die. That's
rule #8. or #9, I forget.

If that's the conclusion you want to draw.

The r.s. goons exhibit many of the same arrogant traits that are
seen in the divers who die.

Kimber's one example who just got lucky.

Generally, DIR divers are not authorized to die.
If one dies without permission, they are in a world of shit.

Two divers didn't die today after an uneventful dive.

Their names are being withheld pending notification of the bar they're
headed to.

Actually it is "thus SPOKE...", but thanks for the "good" news.

My comment wasn't on nót posting incidents, but on posting incidents without
details related to diving and diving-gear/diving-techniques. Just saying it
was a diver that died doesn't help much, in my opinion.

Although opinions obviously scare some people enough to lose their
manners... Scott! And don't worry, I won't get caught up in a name calling
game, I learned that much to know a few arround here can do that much better
then me!
