Depends. Will you be in the Gulf Stream, west of it, or east of it? State
your exact coordinates...then look it up on NOAA's website yerself....or
assume 21.456 degrees Celsius and dress accordingly.

I checked NOAA but they seem to only give sea surface temp.Is there a
big thermocline?
The dive location I was thinking about is islamorada

I assume you will NOT be in the gulf stream since with very rare
exception, the stream doesn't usually cut into less than 200 feet of
water (Until you get N of WPB).

I dive in FLL all year long and the surface rarely gets below 68-70 and
the thermos are not bad... i would suspect temps at depth from 63 to 65
but my temp guage is a typical analog on the SPG.

i assume what you really want to know is what to where... I have been
diving here for over 25 years and I have not dove or lived in the cold
for that long (read temp-wimp) I wear a 3+3 (3 mil farmer john + a 3 mil
jacket) I will also on occaision add a hood/vest but I prefer to were
that with my fall/spring suite (3-2 body suit...3 body 2 arms) I do
wear long gloves and booties as well. Summer it's footie fins and a
lycra suit. Avg dive for me is 70 to 125 ft.

Who are you diving with?

More importantly, who do you dive with, and why haven't you dived with this
group? (ducking)
You know several of us are from your area, right?
