Default Interesting Response from "US Dive Travel Network"

Hello all --

Below is my e-mail to the US Dive Travel Network and their response. I

stand by my observation that their website is less than useful,
although I'm sure I'll take some shots for that. Doesn't matter. What

does matter is their response. I would never deal with anyone who
responds that way and I would recommend that all of you find other
sources for dive vacations.

Pete

================================================== =================

Hi

My wife and I are looking for a one week dive vacation in February '07.

We are interested in Turks and Caicos, but in other locations as well.
Price is a consideration. Your website is less than useful in trying
to find a vacation. Can you provide information for vacations,
including air from Raleigh, NC.

Thanks,

Pete

That so Pete? OK. Seems a good fit then. Must confess, we are less
than interested in working with you. Please seek help elsewhere.

I'm not sure what part of the well-earned slapdown you received was hard
to understand-

He told you right where the bear shit in the buckwheat.

Seek services -elsewhere-, and try a little courtesy when you do.

I probably wouldn't have been so polite.

Some people, (especially when they start whining even *before* they are
customers) can be such a pain in the ass that they aren't worth trying
to please.

I'd not want you as a customer either (in any capacity). Too many others
who are more rewarding to deal with (and less trouble).

I'd say you should take the hint and go spend your money elsewhere.

I'm sure that both you and they will be happier that way.

Looks like an excellent website for booking dive travel to me. Maybe I'll
use them sometime for the more exotic locations.

Do you start out by insulting the webmaster? Customer politeness sure is a
lost art as well.

If you act like that when you walk into a restaurant, you've no doubt
ingested lots of saliva, snot, and other bodily secretions too horrid to
mention. I only chew someone out at the end of a business relationship,
never at the beginning, no matter what the business.

What did Bush blame his failed businesses on, I'm curious? Do you think he
blamed Bush?

Greg,

What is the point of your two posts?
Thanks.

Hopefully the person that does your website is a better typist / proofreader
than you are...

Actually if your spamming caused your netblocks to end up in blacklists
it could create difficulties, as a hosting provider you should have
realized that in the beginning, most likely you did but still chose to
spam. Does POC.US have an abuse department?

One of the best business catchphrases I ever heard was:

On the surface, it sounds trite, but if you think about it and realize
they're mentioned in that order for a reason, it's pretty sound advice
