| Hey, guys, I'm a little new to the world of diving and such. I'm taking a scuba class at high school, and I've gone free diving/spear fishing w/ one of my friends a few times. I'm using my older bro's gear, and the fins are pretty out-dated. I'v heard a lot of good stuff about split fins, and I've been looking at a few of them. Two of the best looking ones I'v seen are the IST F-2 Talaria, and the AquaLung V-Tek. I'm looking for something at or around the $100 range, and those two looked pretty good. (Keep in mind, I'm too young to get a job, so my budget is pretty limited.). Check em out if you could, and reply. Thx for your time, Mike |

Hm, must remember to have a look at the soles of my fins to verify the "best before" date. Thanks for the hint. Matthias |

Saying that my current fines are over 20 years old are still perfect for my modest diving needs and apart from a strap replacement or 6 still going strong. > |

How much energy? It depends greatly on the user, and the 'style' of use. |
