| I have lived near the coast all my life. I have been surfing for over 20 years and don't consider scuba diving because I am afraid I will be subject to shark attacks. Besides, the water here is murky. I would be pushed around on some exhibition if I were to go. Maybe some other time. |

| Look at it from the sharks viewpoint A surfer is an injured fish flopping around on the surface and an easy meal. A diver is another large fish just swimming around and even may be looking for shark to eat. Who is at the greater risk surfer or diver underneath Bob M |

I don't even remember the last time I've ever heard of a SCUBA Diver being attacked by a shark. You gotta really tick one off for it to go after you. |
