I've had my current one for 8 years and it is still going strong. It has a lot of dives on it. Brass Anchor Scuba in MD has a trade in deal - $70 and your dead one gets you a new one. I used to get brand new ones for $100-$125, but I think they're up around $150-$175 now. I've had several Beuchat timers, including the one made for EOD that is not available to the public, and have found them to be extremely unreliable. For simplicity and reliability, you just can't beat the Uwatec, and at <$200 for 8+ years, they are disposable. al |

My first one went 6 years before I had to send it in, and they sent me a new one in reutrn. But that was before UWATEC was absorbed by Johnson. My current one is 5 years old and going strong. |
