Looking for dive buddies?

Hi All-

Anybody looking for dive buddies? If so, I invite you to check out the
Chicago Scuba Meetup. We are a group of almost 200 divers that get
together for local and warm water diving, as well as fun stuff in
Chicago. Although we are based in Chicago, many of our members live
elsewhere and dive with us. Membership is free; there are no
membership dues or any kind of obligation (although we prefer that you
have a sense of adventure!).

We have a lot planned! Some upcoming events include a scuba pool
party, dinner at Our World Underwater, volunteer possibilities at the
Adventures in Travel Expo and Our World Underwater, and, of course,
diving. This summer, we'll be doing at least 7 wreck charters on Lake
Michigan, one trip to Door County for more wreck diving, and various
trips to the quarries nearby. So far, all but 2 of our charters are
full. We are also going to Cozumel in May. Then, of course, we have a
few classes - DAN 02 (last weekend), Nitrox in Feb, and a Visual
Inspection Course for those of us with our own tanks. Finally, we have
an active message board and encourage members to use it to post topics
of interest as well as to look for dive buddies.
