| Or not too...er, regular. Not to worry, computer problems. -- Popeye A skilled, armed man lives on a plane of security and contentment different from that of others. The man who cannot cut it, envies, fears and sometimes hates the man who can. -Cooper www.finalprotectivefire.com |

In point of fact, they were. The PMCIA/FBI/WKPP slot thingy spanked on my computer, and the modem smoked. But I got the newest, latest USB broadband modem, which is cool, cause I can use it on virtually any computer. I almost bought a new laptop, but I want a bullet proof jobby, and they don't seem to come in 17". I am less than impressed with my 2 yr old 17" Toshiba, but, it -has- taken an awful asswhoopin' here in the truck. Big Bill from Dallas and I are looking for an option, for rugged 17" notebooks, if anyone has suggestions. Scott already sent me a doozy, but it's 14". Price is relatively no object, I figure on spending 15-2500, but only if warranted (i.e., we looked at some that were virtually shock proof, and water resistant). |
