Default Suunto Mosquito - replacement battery

Hi, anyone have any experience with replacing the sunnto mosquito battery,
according to the manual, it is recommanded to change the cover, o-ring and
all, is it really necessary? other than availability, it is costly, my
mosquito is still on its original battery and i have only used it for 5
dives, can i just change the battery.

I've replaced mine at least once. You can find the complete
replacement kit, including battery, o-ring, and cover for US $10.99 +
shipping at:

I've changed my Vyper battery without changing the o-ring, more than once.
